I DID NOT DO THE LINEART. I ONLY COLORED THIS AMAZING PIECE OF ART
Right, I was given permission by fireredfoxie and this is her gorgeous original: fav.me/d944osd
I was given permission to color this as well as remove her water mark for aesthetic purposes. It took me about four or five days, but I'm not done. See, Foxie told me that the original intent when she made it as a night scene. Seeing as I've never done one, I chose to do a daylight version first. I also have never drawn wet clothes. I'm half happy and half not happy with what I did with Sesshomaru's garb.
Also, I realized too late that the part I colored red on his sleeve on his left arm isn't where the red should be, but I liked it too much to erase it. So there's my touch. (Her screw up she means)
He was always my favorite from Inuyasha. The first episode I ever saw of the anime was The Woman Who Loved Sesshomaru. I fell in love with this somber pretty nasty fellow.
When I saw this sketch the other day, I had such a strong desire to color it, and was so happy that Foxie would allow me this honor. Her art is brilliant, and you should go give her all of your love. Do it. Right now. Stop reading this and go. Go!
I do hope I made something for you to be happy with, dear. I did things here I've not done before. As I told you in one of our messages, I'm still a coloring novice. Lots of firsts. Detailed leaves, water reflections, clouds. This was really fun for me though, and I thank you.
I also had no idea if the water source had edges around it. I noticed some rocks with grass, but I do know that some shallower, even deeper depending, areas can have greenery sprouting out.
THIS WAS A THING I WANTED TO DO, AND ASKED PERMISSION FROM THE ARTIST TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME WANTING TO COLOR YOUR LINEART UNLESS IT IS THE SAME QUALITY AS THIS OR HIGHER. THEN I MAY CONSIDER DOING IT.
You're probably wondering why that was in capslock. I've found a few deviants recently don't grasp "please don't beg me for things" when they're placed in simple lettering. I apologize for the abrasive nature of that.
